KEISTIMEWAAN KHULUUF KEHARUMAN DIBALIK RASA LAPAR
- Hadis Pertama (Muttafaq ‘Alaih):
ููุฎูููููู ููู ู ุงูุตููุงุฆูู ู ุฃูุทูููุจู ุนูููุฏู ุงูููููู ู ููู ุฑููุญู ุงููู ูุณููู
Artinya:”Sejatinuya, bau mulut orang yang berpuasa itu lebih wangi di sisi Allah daripada aroma minyak misk atau miyak kasturi.” (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim)
- Hadis Kedua (Riwayat As-Sam’ani):

Artinya: “Umatku diberikan lima perkara di bulan Ramadhan… Adapun yang kedua adalah mereka-mereka yang sore harinya dalam keadaan berbau mulut merupakan orang-orang yang ternyata mulutnya lebih wangi di sisi Allah daripada aroma dari minyak kasturi.” (Hadis ini dinyatakan Hasan oleh As-Samโani dan dikutip oleh Imam Nawawi dalam Al-Majmuโ).
Kasus Fikih yang Terjalin
Secara umum, bersiwak itu dianjurkan dan tidak kemakruhan di dalamnya, namun hukumnya bergeser menjadi makruh Ketika bulan Ramadhan tepatnya bagi orang yang berpuasa saat sudah melewati waktu zawal atau saat matahari mulai tergelincir masuk ke waktu Dzuhur.
Landasan utama dari hukum ini bersumber dari hadis Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam ย yang diriwayatkan oleh imam bukhori, muslim, bahwa bau mulut dari orang yang berpuasa, atau yang dalam istilah Arab disebut sebagai khuluuf adalah aroma yang jauh lebih wangi dibandingkan aroma minyak misk (kasturi) di sisi tuhan yang maha mengetahui. Khuluuf sendiri secara spesifik merujuk pada perubahan bau mulut yang timbul bukan karena sisa makanan, melainkan karena kondisi perut yang kosong sebagai hasil dari ibadah puasa yang dilakukan demi tuhan yang maha esa.
Lebih lanjut, alasan pengkhususan waktu setelah Dzuhur ini diperkuat oleh hadis riwayat As-Samโani yang menggunakan redaksi “yumsuna”, yang berarti mereka berada di waktu sore. Dalam kacamata fikih, waktu sore ini ditafsirkan bermula sejak matahari tergelincir (baโda zawal). Oleh karena itu kemakruhannya di mulai dari setelah Zawal atau setelah masuknya waktu dzuhur sampai waktunya berbuka.
Lantas, mengapa sesuatu yang secara kasatmata merupakan bau tidak sedap justru dilarang untuk dihilangkan? Di sinilah letak keindahan illat atau alasan hukumnya. Bau mulut tersebut dipandang sebagai jejak ketaatan dan bukti nyata dari pengorbanan seorang hamba yang sedang menjauhi kenikmatan dunia demi sang tuhan pemilik alam. Karena statusnya yang dicintai dan dimuliakan oleh Allah SWT, maka secara hukum syara’ kita dituntut untuk membiarkan jejak ibadah tersebut tetap ada. Menghilangkannya dengan siwak atau alat pembersih lainnya dianggap seolah menghapus “tanda kehormatan” yang sedang tuhan banggakan, sehingga perbuatan tersebut dihukumi makruh.
